Message from Joan
A pearl is formed when a small object or irritant enters into an oyster. In response, the oyster secretes a pearly substance called nacre. Layers upon layers surround the object and eventually form a pearl.

We all encounter adversity or pain or irritation at some point in our lives. But like the oyster, we can transform a seemingly negative experience into one of powerful growth and understanding. We can practice acceptance- acceptance that every event and every person in our lives is positioned as they are supposed to be. |
|
We can look at each obstacle and gain knowledge from the lesson learned. We can take a difficulty, and as an oyster does, actually transform the difficulty into an opportunity. |
Take the time today to celebrate the Pearl in you.
