Our Story
Our Story begins in 1987 on a trip to Hawaii where we first saw oysters containing colorful pearls, being opened before our eyes.
We brought this idea back with us to Massachusetts and opened a small, seaside store on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Looking for the flexibility to raise a family while running a business, we started Vantel Pearls Parties. Our success is a dream come true.
Just as a grain of sand is planted into an oyster- so an initial idea was born for Vantel Pearls in 1987.
Just as a grain of sand evolves into a pearl over several years - so Vantel Pearls evolved through retail venues for a total of 3 years.
And just as a pearl develops after 3 years, Vantel Pearls transformed into a direct selling company in 1990, providing individuals with an ideal business opportunity.
As layers of nacre (mother-of-pearl) in the end produce a lustrous pearl, so we have woven a blend of people, hope, opportunity, fun, and achievements into a company.
